Review :

I like this book. After long time, I have picked Chetan Bhagat novel. This book was very entertaining read.

This story involved around two friends, Keshav and Saurabh. They are colleagues and flatmate along that they run detective agency. But they have total contrast nature.  Keshav is typical Indian playboy while Saurabh is big Punjabi foodie just like his size, big!

Their friendship turn awkward when Keshav made fun of Saurabh’s soon to be bride. Now their friendship is on the verge of breakup. But in sudden turn of events, Saurabh’s fiancé fall from terrace and dies. Saurabh is convinced that she is murdered. To help his friend and mend their broken friendship, Keshav decide to catch the killer.

Reading this book was really fun ride which doesn’t normally occur in murder-mystery books. There were lots of comedy elements as it is set around Punjabi household. Saurabh never fails to make me laugh with his divine love of food. One advise, don’t read this book empty stomach; it can made you hungry.

Although, I was expecting some original storyline as Bhagat is very experienced novelist. But I failed to guess the killer, so that it was worth the read. There were lots of plot twist that will kept you on the edge of your seat,

This book is heaven for Chetan Bhagat fans. Even if you are not, you can enjoy the book for first time. Also, it’s easy read for beginners. So go for it!

One more thing, if you are  more interested in Keshav’s background you can read this other book The Girl in Room 105. They are occur in same setting but they are totally different books.

Rating : 3.5/5
