My Thoughts :

Do you know who Mary Shelley is? She was famous English novelist who wrote classic gothic horror novel called Frankestein in 1818, which considered as  gothic icon. Her book has turn into many movie adaptations. So let's get back to our story called "The Mary Shelley Club".

Rachel Chavez is a new girl at private highschool, Manchester Prep. But as a scholarship kid, she stood odd among the cluster of rich students. But at one party, a prank goes wrong and she became the target of head mean girl.

But somehow, Rachel attracts the attention of Mary Shelly Club; a secret club of student who are obsessed with horror movies. They gather every week and watch horror movies. Also, they create scariest prank every month. They always prepare prank that elevate the real fear in their subjects. But as a game of prank escalates, the competition become cutthroat and take life of its own.

Tables are turned, someone is targeting the club. Rachel must find the traitor among them. For that, she may have to confront the dark secret from her past.

I love this book. Never read something like this before. It was angsty and filled with trill of gross and scary prank. Loved the concept that was  inspired by other book and author. Every character has their on trait which was interesting to read. I really liked Rachel, she was like encyclopedia of horror movies. On plus point, this book has given me recommendation of many horror movies. The only fault I found in this book was ending. I didn't like how it end. It seems incomplete. I hope author write sequel of this book. But overall I like this book.
