Review:

I loved this book so much! This book is so unique with its storyline. I have heard lots about author V. E. Schwab and her recent book The Invisible Life Of Addie LaRue which by the way I plan to read soon. So I pick her debut book Vicious purely intrigued by its plot.

This is a story about two best friends who are in search of Ed's that means Extraordinary people's with special powers. After some struggle they even find a way to create these EO. But when these duo get this super power something changed. After some turn of unfortunate events now they crave each other's blood. These best friend are turn into enemies with superhero like powers.

The story about good vs evil. The story of hero vs villain. But is it as simple as it sounds? No. Like every coin this story has different side too. It is not just a story about a superhero and villain. But it is about two powerful people who got betrayed by each other and it is story of their revenge.

I really like the unique concept of this book where no one is good even if they think they are. Both character were awesomely developed. Author has really special ability to capture the emotion of events. This story jumps from past to present where both are best friends to when they are enemy which was kind of fun to read. I like how this was fast paced story line which never make it dull. It feel like I was watching superhero movie but with lots of depth.

This was one of the really impressive books of this year. I'm planing to read her other works. I recommend this books to people who love action and revenge. This book got everything!

Rating: 5/5
